@Gagaegral I love all bugs though and even if people don’t like spidops and rabsca much I love them

@Gagaegral it’s crazy how consistent the bug types have been since then, even the more “boring” ones like vivillon and spidops I feel just have a lot more personality
comparing viv to butterfree and spidops to ariados in my mind, but the newer 2 just feel like they have more personality

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the Bug-type Pokémon before gen 5 were uninspired. There are a few great ones that I love, Scyther, Scizor, Heracross, Armaldo, Yanmega etc
But I can't deny that with gen 5, Bug-type Pokémon got a major design upgrade and it's stayed that way
