Bourgeois revolutions were historically progressive at the time they happened because they wiped away the vestiges of feudalism, monarchy, and colonialism in some cases. This is why Lenin himself praised the American Revolution: “The history of modern, civilised America opened with one of those great, really liberating, really revolutionary wars of which there have been so few…” This is very very very basic Marxism. Why are we always being attacked by so called “Marxists” for taking standard Marxist positions?

Fascism isn’t just antisemitism. And when fascism does use racism/cultural racism it’s pushed by the upper class at a systemic level to split and control the working class.

Obviously not, but ending colonialism is. Nobody said George Washington was MORALLY perfect, but the American Revolution was indeed a step forward historically. As Lenin said explicitly. We also uphold Lincoln and the Union because they moved history FURTHER forward by abolishing the slave based mode of production. Setting the stage for today where we need to continue moving history forward with a proletarian revolution. Again this is very basic Marxism. No offense, but I don’t get what’s so hard to understand about this. Leftism has people viewing everything through a morale lens rather than a historically materialist one.
