The Web3 NFT community needs a permanent, truly open source solution. OpenSea is obviously not the alternative here. It needs to be open sourced and community node supported, like Bitcoin.

The crypto trade is mostly over. Value accrual will primarily go to stablecoins and tradfi companies using their own blockchains (Stripe, Coinbase, Robinhood), not 95% of this dogshit
Opportunities will mainly be in BTC, Privacy, Hype/DEX. Maybe AI/robotics x Blockchain in 2027+

HYPE is a token I watch closely, so some quick thoughts.
the question I ask is: how much of the unlock selling has been frontrun these past 3 days?
2 variables:
A. $$ that team will actually be selling (~$300M of unlocks on 29 Nov, then monthly)
B. $$ from people who sold but will buy back once there is clarity + new capital waiting to buy a big dip
-> price is down 25% on a $10B market cap so maybe ~$200-$250M in net selling these past 3 days.
a wide range of numbers in people's heads for (A) and (B) hence the volatility
IMO the team will sell tokens but impact probably not as steep as people fear (e.g. OTC, slow drip).
more diamond handed compared to if this were a VC unlock. VCs won't care about rekting other token holders/community as long as they profit, but team is building every day for a longer-term vision
so there's value in the price today ($30), and it will be a ride.

My brief thoughts on the Hyperliquid team unstaking a minuscule portion of their $HYPE, after having witnessed their level of execution and integrity for the past 2.5yr: 1. The norm for ecosystem-level foundations is to “strategically” dump on your fucking head, typically on a vocal scale ranging from either a) “we’ve diversified our treasury” to b) “….🦗….” (you’ll never know) — e.g. the Ethereum Foundation, who’s sold millions of ETH over the years continuously, along with countless other ecosystems. Hyperliquid has set a new standard for the industry entirely, whether anyone cares to admit or not — notice all the abrupt changes to suddenly buyback tokens? Very, very far from a coincidence. 2. Even if the entire 2.6m HYPE clip were to hit the books on the opening block of their cliff — there is no team on planet earth, let alone this industry, that deserves to FSH their fair share more than them. Hyperliquid has defied gravity on every material scale possible. They’ve forgone nearly a billion dollars in CASH they could’ve pocketed (a la CEX) and decided to pour essentially the entirety of it into buying your bags. As much as everyone would enjoy some “clarity” or “communication” on what they’re up to, the reality is that they’ve both clearly earned, and directly purchased the right to do whatever / whenever the fuck they want.
