I've never seen a set with this much demand. Not even Prismatic had this type of momentum We are only like 3 months into this set and it's already above $500 for a Pokemon Center etb... These sat for over an hour back in November and people were getting multiple orders in too

@pokemondealsuk Terrible idea. I don’t want to be paying £9 a month for the odd invite off Amazon for Pokemon products. It’s not worth it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they already do this because I got loads of invites when I had a free prime trial. No more invited since leaving.

I’ve seen some people suggest tying Pokémon Amazon invites to Prime membership only. It might not be a perfect solution, but it could help reduce multi-account abuse and make things a bit fairer for genuine fans. What do you think?

@pokemondealsuk Pre orders of new drops as is with the queueing system. Random small product restocks would be fine for the invitation route. That’s how I’d like this.

My honest opinion: Preorders have usually been easy to get and stayed up for hours, so I’m not fully convinced this is the right move 🤔 If you were Pokémon Center, how would you implement a system like this in the right way to benefit real collectors? 🎴 What ideas would you bring in to keep it fair and accessible? 👇

@PikaEllla Definitely a smart move. 9 cards in total to collect, it’s a well overhyped set. Just think how much of this product has been printed already and will continue to be printed. The circulation of these cards will only reduce the value. Sell them and get your switch 🙌

Very is one of the worst sites, the best way is to go from saved items, but even like that sometimes they block you even if you are not a bot. Everything was crashing today. They really need to fix their site 😒

Alot of issues tonight on the Pokemon Center website hopefully these are fixed when they finally decide to drop the Chaos Rising pre-orders which hopefully should be soon, as they normally do a test drop which this could of been.

Looks like the Pokemon Center website is having issues it may be awhile before some product is dropped if they decide to drop it.

@cris_profesor @KabutoKing_ No booster box, fewer packs, unique promos, Pokémon Center exclusive… Ascended Heroes PC ETBs are inherently rarer than Evolving Skies. $1k in 5yrs? Totally plausible.

I surprisingly agree with this. Too many iconic cards in this set.

@randomroukin @collectdotrip ❌ tulips were speculation without collectors. Pokemon tcg has survived multiple waves and have collectors first then speculation second. This is quite the difference to a simple comparison of a tulip bubble.

This ETB is going to be $1,000 in 5 years
