Gas Tertawa (N₂O): Edukasi di Tengah Berita Simpang Siur yang Lagi Ramai 👨🔬 Banyak rumor dan spekulasi beredar soal penyebab kematian seseorang baru-baru ini, termasuk dugaan penyalahgunaan gas tertawa dari kaleng whipped cream. Meski penyebab resmi masih ditunggu hasil investigasi polisi, ini jadi pengingat penting: tren "fun high" pakai N₂O di pesta lagi marak, tapi risikonya serius 🙏🏻. Gas tertawa (N₂O) sudah digunakan dokter sejak 1844 untuk prosedur tanpa rasa sakit, seperti cabut gigi. Tapi belakangan viral di pesta sebagai "fun high", padahal kalau disalahgunakan bisa berbahaya. Kenapa Aman di Medis? N₂O bekerja cepat (20 detik ke otak) dan efeknya hilang cepat. Blokir jalur nyeri, lepas endorfin alami, serta bikin rileks. Berguna untuk: • Cabut gigi anak-anak • Membantu persalinan • Prosedur darurat ringan (jahit luka, patah tulang kecil) Kuncinya: Selalu dicampur oksigen minimal 30%, dosis terkontrol, dan diawasi dokter + alat ukur. Aman kalau seperti itu. Bahaya di Pesta Cara pakai beda: gas murni dari balon atau kaleng whipped cream, tanpa oksigen, sering dihirup berulang-ulang. Risiko Langsung: • Hipoksia (oksigen di paru tergeser) → pingsan, kejang, bahkan henti napas atau jantung mendadak • Frostbite (gas keluar sangat dingin, sekitar -40°C) → luka bakar beku di mulut atau tenggorokan • Jatuh atau kecelakaan saat sedang tidak sadar Risiko Jangka Panjang (Kalau Dipakai Sering/Berulang): N₂O mengganggu vitamin B12 → rusak lapisan pelindung saraf (myelin) → bisa timbul gejala seperti kesemutan di tangan/kaki, susah jalan, gangguan keseimbangan. Kalau dibiarkan, ada kasus di berbagai negara di mana pengguna rutin mengalami kerusakan saraf permanen (seperti kelumpuhan parsial atau masalah neurologis lain). Di Indonesia, dokter juga mulai memperingatkan risiko ini. Hukum di Indonesia N₂O bukan narkotika, tapi dijual bebas untuk keperluan kuliner (whipped cream charger). Penyalahgunaan bisa kena UU Kesehatan (karena bahayakan kesehatan diri/orang lain) atau aturan terkait perlindungan konsumen. Intinya - MEDIS: ✅ Campur oksigen + terkontrol + diawasi dokter - PESTA: ❌ Gas murni + tanpa oksigen + tanpa pengawasan = risiko tinggi Gas tertawa adalah alat medis yang berguna kalau dipakai benar. Di luar konteks medis, bisa berbahaya bahkan fatal. Kalau kamu atau teman mulai merasakan kesemutan, susah jalan, atau gejala saraf setelah pakai → segera ke dokter, minta cek kadar vitamin B12. Penanganan dini bisa mencegah kerusakan lebih lanjut. Ini bukan untuk nuduh siapa-siapa, tapi semoga edukasi ini bantu cegah hal buruk ke depan. Here’s the truth
Both had outstanding seasons
Maye was better. He had an easier schedule but he also dominated that schedule. Also, when you talk about an “easier” schedule, that doesn’t mean the opposing defenses were the issues for those teams.
While Stafford did face a tougher schedule, the same argument goes… A good record team doesn’t mean a good defense… Ex: 49ers… Good record, poor pass defense…. Along with that, Stafford played with elite talent and coaching around him
The SOS argument against Maye is being insanely overblown. This is the NFL. There’s talent everywhere…
“ohh well the Patriots beat one winning record team”… ok, what’s the gap between the 8-9 Ravens and the 11-6 Chargers? The Patriots beat four 8-9 teams (two teams that the Rams lost to BTW)… Are the 10-7 Steelers better than the 8-9 Bucs? Maybe? maybe not. If you are honest, you know there is such a small difference between many of these teams
Maye faced lesser talent with lesser talent along side him. Stafford played better talent with better talent along side him. Objectivity tells us those should for the most part, cancel each other out
Maye leads the league in dozens of categories. Stafford leads in few. While touchdowns are an important stat and Stafford does lead, anyone who knows the game of football, knows it’s a stat that shouldn’t be overblown. Was LeGarrette Blount the best RB in 2016 when he had 18 touchdowns? Not even close
While no stat is perfect, there’s many these days that evaluate the whole picture and give legitimate grades… Maye leads in most of them

The argument for Maye? It’s simple tbh. The more efficient, consistent, and flat out better QB play this season. His receivers across the board had either career years in yards and or efficiency. He lead what was supposed to be an 8-9 win team, to a 14-3 record…

When it comes to MVP, best thing you can do is cast a wide-net of stats and then made a decision. Anybody that says it isn't close isn't being honest. Stafford and Maye are both deserving. My MVP would be Drake Maye.
