Some of the myths. There’s a tunnel under nuns corner to the Old Convent and now to under the college. Small railway lines leading from the beach to Haile Sand Fort Wybers is one of the best chippies for 6 months of the year until the fryer goes to Cyprus over the winter. Scaffa Baffs was built to Olympic standard but without the tiles and mortar either side built in to the planning so it was two centimetres too short to be an official pool.
