Some thoughts on the Eagles signing Joe Tryon: ** Tryon is such an Eagles free-agent signing. Former first-round pick, elite-level athlete, high upside — but hasn’t met his potential in his 5 NFL seasons and was available at this stage of free agency for a reason. He could be a steal or he could be a complete nonfactor. ** Tryon only has 15 sacks in 82 games but his pressure numbers are slightly better than that low number would indicate. Tryon had 81 QB pressures his first two years in the NFL, a sign of what he can be as a rusher. The last two years, however, he only has 32 total pressures. So the Eagles will hope that at only 27-years old that Tryon can get back to the player he was at the beginning of his career. ** Another low-cost attempt at trying to find bargains at the EDGE position. If Arnold Ebiketie is this year’s Azeez Ojulari than I think Joe Tryon is Josh Uche in terms of financial investment ** The Eagles now have Jaylx Hunt, Nolan Smith, Ebeketie, Tryon and Jose Ramirez at EDGE right now on the roster. That will change and I would guess at least 1-2 more somewhat significant moves will be made.

Some thoughts on Fred Johnson being back on a one-year deal, per NFL Network: ** Johnson has been a dependable backup for the Eagles the last two years. His familiarity with the other offensive linemen, Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni is a valuable asset to have in a backup. ** Johnson had a much better 2025 than 2024. In 2024 he allowed 25 pressures (8 sacks) in 240 pass blocking snaps. In 2025 he allowed just 17 pressures (2 sacks) in 386 snaps. ** Johnson’s signing probably isn’t good news for Myles Hinton or Cameron Williams. The Eagles are going to want to take an OT early in the draft. That player will be a lock to make the team. Johnson is pretty close to a lock (but might not be able to survive a terrible camp). Hard to see both Hinton and Williams making it — and maybe neither will.

The Philadelphia Eagles remain very interested in trading for Vikings EDGE, Jonathan Greenard. I would like this move for multiple reasons: - Helps replace Jaelan Phillips at a cheaper price, even if Greenard gets a contract extension - Greenard is a disruptive pass rusher and a really good run defender - Being on the Eagles DL with the current personnel could lead to a monster year for Greenard, who had 12.5 sacks in 2023 and 12 sacks in 2024 - Has had success in a 4-3 and 3-4 - Wouldn't have to give up crazy draft compensation for Greenard. 2nd or 3rd rounder should get it done. #Eagles

For context: Alvaro Folgueiras is a Spanish international who lost his Dad at 9 yrs old. He points to the sky after every made three to honor him. Folgueiras Mom was able to be there for the biggest shot of his career, just 3rd time she’s seen him play in person. What a moment ❤️

The #Eagles still gonna make a TRADE or draft a Safety… After moving on from Sydney Brown and signing Epps and Gray they will be adding the STARTER one way or the other! FYI I really like Epps as depth. He played solid for us last year bc Fangio didn’t trust Sydney Brown. That’s why we got him.
