It seems rare drops have likely been disabled, why? An ex-Valve employee wrote on a forum post a few months ago that random rewards should be “a fun surprise, but not economically attractive enough to become a job.” Old rare drops are "infinite", low volume, bot farmed and fundamentally structurally unhealthy Ending the supply turns them into legacy items and closes the system, basically making them a dead endpoint Even though Valve may not like the idea of these case spiking in price, it just seems like an acceptable collateral for effectively removing incentive to create bots and turn matchmaking into labor 🤠

@RenierPPorter There hasn't been a single report of that which can be verified to be true. Most that went around social media were proven to be completely fake tho

It will be a bit weird at first but I'm a fan of the animation update, I think all cs versions have had unique animations so I guess why not cs2 as well.
