I try not to freak out about all of this but, the Brooklyn Nets have one playoff series win the last 12 years. I think it’s understandable to be nervous about not maximizing lotto odds this year. We literally have nothing close to a 1st or 2nd option of the future.
We also don’t have our 2027 pick. It’s all or nothing, or we suck for another 170 games before we get a shot at the lottery again.
The Golden State Warriors are seeking a promising young player and a first-round pick in a sign-and-trade involving Jonathan Kuminga, per Anthony Slater (The Athletic).
The Wizards, Bucks, Heat, Bulls, and Nets have also shown interest.
Kuminga to Brooklyn? 👀

@DougNorrie so the nets were supposed to know the sixers AND pelicans seasons would be this bad? not to mention charlotte having injuries? I mean c'mon. we good! we've got 4 picks in a loaded draft and worse case we'll be in position to get one of the boozer kids next year!
Cam Thomas drops 36, first player in franchise history to have back-to-back 35+ point season openers
Per Nets PR
He also ties the franchise record with seven made threes in a season opener as well.
Jacque Vaughn had:
•A challenge left to use on a CLEAN strip from DSJ (12 seconds left) and doesn’t use it
•Makes the Nets bring the ball up the court with 12 seconds left and REFUSES to use a timeout
FIRE THIS MAN NOW! #FireJacqueVaughn
@EvanRobertsWFAN I'm tired of watching my teams lose all the time. Nets, Giants, Yankees! The Hawks played last night, the Nets were off, and they couldn't win an overtime game!!! Supposedly a defensive team and give up 45 in 1st quarter! PLEASE!!!
