There's a quiet sadness in closing a good book you'll never get to read for the first time again.

i’ll never understand how people can be in relationships or marriages and still lie, disrespect, and embarrass their partner with outsiders. that level of boldness isn’t love — it’s ego, immaturity, and lack of character. you don’t humiliate what you truly respect.
