I just really can’t get myself to care about my fucking job. I don’t mean this in a hehe Twitter way but in a grueling, depressing, we are wasting our entire lives for crumbs and we don’t know how to even live kind of way. Fuck this shit.

Every single patient on ventilators in the entire of Cuba just died overnight because of the US blockade. The US is a terrorist regime destroying the world to rule over the ashes. It must be stopped.

Poverty is expensive in a way that people don’t understand. If you can’t afford a dentist you have long term teeth damage. Not affording healthy food means poor health. Not affording ‘good schools’ means missed opportunities. It is a compounding cycle.

it’s incredibly blackpilling to me that it takes rising gas prices and rising gas prices alone to have people turn against the war in iran, and not the american government murdering thousands of children and civilians in iran. americans are incredibly selfish

It’s terrible that Huerta felt like she had to keep this secret for so long in fear of “hurting the movement.” This speaks to a long-enduring attitude among working class organizations where sexual abuse of female comrades is silenced in favor of protecting the “bigger cause.”

Every day I wake up angry and I go to bed angry. I have enough anger to pass around to everyone and still have some left over to last lifetimes. Every day I hold onto a little bit extra just in case. But at least I have a bed. At least I have a home. At least at least at least

These are letters and drawings from children at the Dilley Detention Center in Texas. Trump isn’t going after the “worst of the worst.” He’s going after kids — who should be home, in school, and playing with their friends. This is absolutely heartbreaking — and it must end.

Omg. I was having this *exact* conversation w/a friend yesterday. As someone who !hates! asking for stuff, I’m learning that being a true part of a community is not just giving. You’re also supposed to take from it + give people the opportunity to give to you.
michelle.@michkeenah

it never occurred to me to ask bc driving someone to the airport at such an ungodly hour is a big thing to ask of anyone! but you kinda have to give ppl the opportunity to be inconvenienced by you. you’ll be surprised by the things people will do out of their love + care for you

Hate to break it to you guys but sometimes you have to do things you don’t like for the sake of having a community. Avoiding consistency with the people in your life is working against us and the data already shows it. If you think connections can be sustained on absence carry on

I didn't think this was unpopular... but we are actually responsible for the emotional wellbeing of the people we claim to care about. That doesn't mean we carry all of their pain but it does mean our words and actions have an impact. Romantic, platonic, and familial relationships require a level of emotional accountability. And the truth is, they don't fail because people are too sensitive. They fail because too many people want connection without accountability for how they make others feel

I feel such incredible rage. Rage at Cuba being forcibly isolated from the rest of the world. Rage that the people of Cuba continue to suffer under 60+ year blockade. Rage at other countries caving to the US. Rage that we haven’t built enough power here to end U.S. imperialism.
BreakThrough News@BTnewsroom

At the direction of the U.S., the Honduran government under president Nasry Asfura has expelled its Cuban doctors from the country. The doctors were stationed at a free ophthalmological clinic in Colinas, Santa Bárbara and were part of the Operation Miracle program, which provided services to poor and vulnerable populations. Medical brigades have become one Cuba's most critical sources of income in the face of the U.S. blockade.
