Finally found out where I have secured my preceptorship… I’m going into forensics being on a low secure ward! So happy as the team are brilliant and I’ve worked on there as a HCA for the past year😍

In total shock that I’ve just been offered my dream nursing job 😭🥹🥰 I cannot believe that I’m going to be a nurse on a camhs inpatient ward. Younger me would be SO proud #punc20

Absolute over the moon, I am so excited to have been offered my dream job that I have been working towards for years 🥺 incredibly lucky to have this opportunity with my friends as well 💕 CAMHS inpatient here I come 👏🏻

Teaching & Supervising EOC ✅ OAR ✅ Placement 5/6 fully signed off, now to do 1 shift tomorrow and I am officially done for Christmas! So glad I managed to get loads signed off on this placement, just 1 more EOC to complete next time!

- final interview ✅ - medicines management ✅ - 29/29 proficiencies ✅ Just need to complete my teaching/supervising EOC on Tuesday with a 2nd year student and placement 5/6 is complete😊

#NRS604 presentation on Wednesday and I’m trying to rehearse and I keep hitting 15 minutes but still having 2 slides left, hellllpppp😅😬

The way those patients have been treated makes me physically sick to my stomach. Being understaffed is a bullshit excuse. Abuse is inexcusable. Patients should NOT be treated this way. As a 3rd year student MH nurse, I want nothing but to make a positive impact on patients.

I cannot put into words how disgusting and upsetting last nights panorama was. Mental Health patients are in inpatient settings to have the BEST treatment and care to get them well and back home. NOT for bullies to treat them with nothing but abuse. #Panorama

I feel like student nurse morale is an all time low, working hard, feeling unappreciated, major financial struggles, out of pocket for travel expenses, missing our families. Somethings got to give. #studentnurses

First day of optional placement and my car breaks down😅 Thought my gear box had gone but luckily it was a simple fix and now a delayed start to placement today, luckily the team are so lovely!! #punc20

Placement/ 2nd year all signed off and some brilliant feedback from the team🥰 Even though I don’t think the Dementia side of mental health is for me, I have learnt so much and had amazing support from my mentor! #punc20

Midpoint Interview done ✅ All proficiencies signed off for 2nd year ✅ Half way through my DOPMH placement already!
