@tierfal Ughhh! This person's Instagram not only had a lot of Art in a very consistent style, but also had everyday life stuff and interaction with others going back years, so I think at least at one point she was a real person. Maybe someone just set up a bot using her name and links ugh

I got this rly lovely comment on a fic the other day and was very excited abt it... I think they had DM-ed my old X account, so I told them to message this one. Then they deleted the comment as well as all their accounts/contact info from their profile and are just gone!?!?😭

@DuendePika I got one the other day from someone with a full instagram account like yours, and all the comments on their recent posts were other authors from different fandoms going "Thanks for the comment on X fic, you said to reach out to you!" 😔 found AO3's post: archiveofourown.org/admin_posts/33…

@DuendePika they're really sophisticated, it's a pain. I thought it was a commenter who was awkward or used a/i to write longer comments. mine has an entire legit-looking tumblr & kept DMing me even after I repeatedly declined. honestly can't tell how much is live scammer vs how much is bot.

@DuendePika Regrettably, there has been a/I boosted spam exactly like this going around. Ao3 made a statement about it at some point - I fell for one almost identical to this and a very good bot or very bored person messaged me several times trying to get me to comm them. Absolutely sucks

@LoretoWinner2 Yea I mean I would think it were a bot were it not for the fact that they left such specific comments that make it obvious they read it!? I sadly didn't save their insta or other accounts and can't even find it in my history now, either.

Watching folks try to justify this is nagging me. NAGGING ME. We're talking about the same Endeavor that in Chapter 3 was told to be the hero with the most solved cases. The same Endeavor that told Shoto how he has to be careful and control his flames in Chapter 40. The same Endeavor that during the Hosu Incident was able to defeat two Nomus, save civilians, recognize Gran Torino's strength, and that Shoto himself knew he could solve the problems in Chapter 55. And the same Endeavor that during the Kamino Incident was able to defeat various Nomus, keep the rest of the team safe, and told the other members to expand the evacuation area to keep civilians safe in Chapter 88. And all of that without hiding his frustration for All Might and his garbage personality. And for some reason I'm supposed to believe this is the same guy who would put his peers and civilians in danger just because a random-ass villain mentioned All Might? Get out of tooooooooown. #MHA #MHAVigilantes
