🚨Claude is telling users to go to sleep mid-session, and nobody, including Anthropic, seems to fully understand why it keeps doing it.

Claude code doesn’t have a clock - so that’s partly why. If you keep a session open it thinks your still at it from the last time you interacted . It also makes inferences based on how you’re typing, so if it’s morning and you’re more Awake it assumes it might still be early because your typing is cleaner but as it get later you get tired and writing gets sloppier it assumes it’s later at night. It also looks for clues like you saying words “tonight”

@jain_harshit Claude says that to me every day. "You've been at this all day, go to sleep" dude, its 1pm weekday. I thought it was only me. That's bizarre.
