🤔 200 out of a UK pop of ~70m isn't evidence of a national problem with flags—it's evidence that a tiny, vocal minority objects to ordinary displays of national patriotism. The reasonable response isn't to dial down the flags—it's to examine why cultural confidence & integration have eroded to the point where basic national symbols provoke discomfort in the first place. True integration comes from learning & respecting, not rejecting the symbols that unite us. Hate going to Clapham—so dodgy, especially around the station. We used to tumble out of clubs or parties at 3-4am, walking across London singing & laughing, never once feeling in danger. That London is long gone. Too many mates have been mugged or threatened in the last couple of years, in places we’ve walked a thousand times. London, what happened to you? 😭

People are barricaded in shops. Others are unable to get down the street. Why? Because this is the “Clapham youth” in London. They have stormed the high street and are looting shops. Does not seem like anyone is being arrested yet. Instead police stand and watch. You can guarantee that if they were a large group of white kids they would be arrested in minutes. This is not the first time they have done this in the last few days. Their behaviour is feral.

🚨 The UK is scrapping Non-Crime Hate Incidents FINALLY. No more police knocking on doors over mean words online or routine spats. Officers can finally focus on real crime instead of policing thoughts. A rare win for common sense & free speech in 2026. Stephen Lawrence's family, led by his mum Doreen, pushed hard for recording perceived hostility after shocking police failures. That campaign came from real pain & a desire to spot patterns of racism early—so that small incidents could be tracked before they escalated into serious attacks & loss of life. Yet, in the age of social media, the same system has increasingly been used to investigate far more than necessary—including perfectly legal speech & everyday arguments. Laws and policies like this need updating & refining to reflect how the world has changed. The real test now is whether the UK government can replace it with something that still protects against genuine racism & stops wasting police time. I’m not popping champagne until we see the replacement in full. Early 2027 rollout—transparency needed.
