Heartbroken & so inspired 💔💔🙏🏽
The Commonwealth Games is becoming a daily roll-call of young Indians who have emerged from unimaginable hardship & horrors to win gold.
Look at 23-year-old judoka Asmita Dey, who is now the first Indian to win Commonwealth Games gold in the women’s 48kg category.
7 months ago, she lost her father to a brain stroke. A bicycle mechanic who earned barely ₹300 a day, he raised his family in a mud house in a small village in Tripura. When a knee injury threatened Asmita’s career, he found the money to take her to Delhi for treatment.
Even as the family mourned, Asmita’s mother urged her daughter to return to training, believing that abandoning the dream would betray everything her father had sacrificed for.
She now stands on top of the Commonwealth Games podium with a gold medal around her neck.

you're right about the map being wrong.. the reality is that all of J&K belongs to Pakistan....

It's ironic. India won't take AJK even if it's offered on a silver platter because of AJK's Muslim (kinda Punjabi) population.
On the other hand, India is quite content with the part of Kashmir it already controls; it has integrated it into India and now considers it part of its own territory.
Even the J&K Kashmiris have assimilated into India, and now they only seek rights from India rather than the freedom they once advocated.
If a plebiscite were held today in J&K and AJK, most likely the majority would favor India over Pakistan. So, why should Pakistan go through such struggle and involve the UN just to hand over even the part of Kashmir it controls to India? The only way forward is to simply absorb whatever part of Kashmir it has and move on. There’s no other solution to Kashmir. If Pakistan doesn't realize this today, it will someday, but probably at the expense of its people's prosperity.

Pak & India both seem to benefit from the current status quo in Kashmir, even if they don't admit it openly. A unified k in either side's control could cause serious fallout. Nor has K's long history of foreign interference made matters any easier for them.

@SubhanJaved911 @therealp0litik But we never invaded...did we? We waited till the king signed the agreement. Unlike pak 😅
English

@therealp0litik Same logic can be applied to the indian side as well ...

@GS05445168 @nawabasadjutt @omarali50 Even your fatherland couldn't defend its land from getting pounded by cheap Iranian ballistic missiles. American bases are getting pounded as we speak. World already knows what we did to your s-400. We will call your bluff. 🤭

@SubhanJaved911 Whenever I read "embassy' in Islamabad, all I can think of is 1979.
Was Zia in power that time? I think so.
Good diplomatic relations can do wonders for countries.
English

The Chinese embassy in Islamabad is the largest 🇨🇳 overseas diplomatic mission ...
Spread over 37 acres of diplomatic enclave in the federal capital of Pakistan 🇵🇰, it serve as the nerve centre of regional economic & military co-operation paradigm.
It was inaugurated in june 2015 and can support 1000+ personnel at a time ranging from CCP, foreign service, PLA, mega state corporations etc
H.E Jiang Zaidong is serving as ambassador since sep 2023 with passion and vision of public service delivery.
CPEC phase two is underway for export led manufacturing industry, digital knowledge based economy + agricultural yields enhancement and technical skills development.
China-Pakistan bilateral trade is now crossing 25 billion $ mark as 30k Pakistani students are studying in medical/engineering universities of 🇨🇳 and 50k Chinese nationals are working on energy, infrastructure and I.T/AI projects in 🇵🇰
What do you think, how strategic alliance among 2 Himalayan neighbours can change regional balance of power & how it will impact civil military tight rope of being friendly with both the east & the west⁉️

English

@SubhanJaved911 Same as what happened in 370. But there must be some sort of legal complications there. There were some in 370 which made it near impossible, but that was India's internal matter constitutionally.
Is it the same case for GB?
English

The Government of 🇵🇰 is considering elevating Gilgit-Baltistan to the status of 5th province ...
Erstwhile northern areas have ~2 million population and ~72,000 square km territory. It borders China in the north and Wakhan corridor of 🇦🇫 in the west, directly facing indian controlled Ladakh + Jammu and Kashmir region.
Legislative assembly of G.B passed a unanimous resolution to join the federation as an interim/provisional province until the pending constitutional amendment and enjoy full civil rights granted to 4 other provinces.
CPEC passes through this strategic area in tandem with indus River. 15 billion $ worth Diamer Bhasha dam is under construction in chilas area by Chinese 🇨🇳 collaboration. Federal govt can provide development funds at a big scale.
What do u think, how this move would alter status-quo of J&K dispute under U.N resolutions + how it will impact regional tensions between india 🇮🇳⚔️🇵🇰 ... ⁉️
