@pieandbov Hearts win over Falkirk is a formality and likely a big chance to beef up their goal difference. If Celtic can avoid defeat they will be doing well but even a draw might leave things too difficult for Saturday as they would need a big win to address the goal difference.

A potentially historic night of Premiership football lies ahead this evening with Hearts having the potential to become the first top flight Champions of Scotland from outside Glasgow since 1985. Hearts vs Falkirk A patched up Falkirk side head to Tynecastle this evening not only looking for their first point against the league leaders this season but also their first league goal. The Jambos will be looking to sign off on an unbeaten home record in the Premiership this season with a fourth victory over John McGlynn's men which would put them on 80 points. That would seal the title if Celtic come unstuck in Motherwell. Falkirk of course did beat the Jambos at Tynecastle in the Scottish Cup back in January, edging them out on penalties after a 1-1 draw after regulation and extra time. Live on SKY Sports, 20:00 KO. Motherwell vs Celtic Celtic can postpone any title talk down Gorgie way if they leave Fir Park with all three points this evening, setting up a winner take all clash at Celtic Park on Saturday. The Steelmen have already beaten the defending Champions in ML1 this season, running out 2-0 winners over Wilfried Nancy's men at the end of December but Celtic got the better of JBA's side in the other two meetings in Glasgow, winning 3-2 under Brendan Rodgers in October, and most recently 3-1 under Martin O'Neill back in March. The game comes almost 21 years to the day that Motherwell hosted Celtic on what became known as Helicopter Sunday. Will we get more of the same late drama tonight? Find out, also on SKY Sports, also 20:00 kick off. What a night it promises to be!!

Only ONE club can win @spfl Premiership tonight and that's Hearts @JamTarts ⚽️ By Sunday, it could be two, Hearts or Celtic @CelticFC (or in case it turns on its head tonight, Celtic or Hearts)⚽️Is it too much to hope we can have two undisputed results at Fir Park and Tynecastle?

@tim_declan @ScotlandSky @SkyFootball Rangere have had some really excellent players in recent seasons and they are closing that gap to. i think Rohl is good manager but there is no one at the club who can really impart what it is to to play for them like there is at Celtic.

@Scottish188 @EwenDCameron We win this league its just another excuse for the club not to invest. Could be the worst thing that evet happens to us. We lose the league we usually react.

40 years ago I was adopted by a wonderful family and I shared a bedroom with my best pal. My brother. There wasn’t much money about and we couldn’t afford to attend many Hearts games. However, on match days/nights we’d regularly get the bus from Longstone to stand outside Tynecastle to hear the atmosphere. Just being near the historic stadium felt amazing. We’d jump up and down on the street when we heard the roar of the Hearts support when we scored. We’d then wait for the Hearts support to flood out of Tynie, onto Gorgie Road, and we’d walk alongside the fans just to feel part of it. Sadly, my Hearts daft brother recently passed away under tragic circumstances, and I just wish Andrew was here so we could both stand in that very spot on Gorgie Road tonight as we did decades ago. Thank you Del, and the team, for giving us a season that we could never have imagined in our wildest dreams. No matter what happens this week you’ve done us all proud. ♥️ #Hearts

@A1_CELTIC Its the lazy response. Too much like hard work for them to face down their onw clubs failings.

I think MON will most likely go with same team as Sunday with Tounetki in for McCowan. He did give Hatate minutes though, I would like to see Hatate in there to so give us abit more in the centre of the park. Ken

@FegBizet I think that's what drives much of the success. Champions who retain that hunger and intensity will always find it meaningful.

I said on the STV Radio Football Show that my belief is that John Beaton didn’t look at the incident at any point after Walsh issued a yellow card. Beaton, like McLean the night before, failed very badly. #Hearts #Celtic #Rangers
