This doesn’t just happen at school or community club level but within the Pro game too. Why is this allowed to happen? sometimes good players get released instead of these “Favourites”. It’s funny how things work out, because the Player, Coach or Club who ends up looking daft 😂

Every so often an interesting article, old team sheet or a post on social media makes you think….. One thing I hate is Club or Coach Favouritism. It certainly doesn’t help the player out long term, as most will get found out and binned!

Currently 31 nil @YorkValkyrie against @GiantsWRL with 5 mins to halftime. It’s a very tough Women’s League, with 3 standout teams.

Here’s my attempt at a lineup for the next game. I’ve gone radical. Mass changes. Six serial under-performers out. Don’t care if this team loses, it would try harder, and would give some fringe players experience. There’s some out of position but it’s the best I could do.

We’ll be ready for our 23/24 season, so happy to continue as Head Coach @HURLFC. A fantastic set of lads, who come together as a family on and off the field. Roll on Sept 👊🏉🚀@HuddersfieldUni
