I had an unexpected postal delivery this morning. From Brazil! Opening it with interest I found this fine @perpsonx print by @Warrr9A. I had forgotten it was coming, so it's a lovely surprise. Sweet timing, as by convenient twist of fate today also happens to be my birthday 🥳

Today I lost my Mom She had been battling sickness for 3 years. She was very strong despite being in so much pain, which is something she taught us groing up. I truly dont know how to go about a time so scary but she would have wanted me to keep my head up Fly High Mom 🕊

@Brrrbon_ Carrying the weight of depression is no small thing. Sometimes it simply gets on top of you. I'm glad to hear you are finding your way out of the slump you've been feeling. We get up every day & do the best we can. It is enough.

depression hits hard I’ve lived in and out of it my entire life some days the pressure lifts other days it crushes you 
those days turn into weeks
weeks into months sometimes years pass before you realize how long you’ve been carrying it I’ve been in a depressed headspace for a few months now 
but things are changing coaching youth lacrosse got me moving again 
back in the gym
running
doing something physical, something real and with movement, the drive starts to come back
so does the motivation depression lies and tells you this is permanent 
it isn’t.. you don’t force your way out
you don’t flip a switch
you take one action, then another, and let momentum build quietly nothing lasts forever, not even this 
you don’t just return to who you were
you grow back stronger if you’re in it right now, you’re not broken 
you’re in a season
and seasons change

Anyone else still enjoying the art? I'm not one of life's deep pockets, but every now & then I manage to get something special. Thank you to the previous owner who accepted my offer on this @rogerin_art piece from back in 2023. I think it's stunning.

I have no idea if my friends and family are dad, alive, or captured and I'm not the only one. It has been over 86 hours with zero contact. We haven't heard from our loved ones, and they haven't heard from us. Iran has been under a total communication blackout while the Islamic Republic is taking down unarmed people of all ages who are fighting for their most basic human rights. We are terrified.
