Beautiful Midsummer walk with friends on The Wrekin last night. While it was busy on the hilltop, we went up the via the reservoir, rifle range, then up round the back of Halfway House... and didn't see a soul! Here's the Ercall from the Beech Grove: #Shropshire #Midsummer 🌅

#BookReview The Secret Hours - Mick Herron If you love the characters of Slough House, and want to know more of the back story - this is superb. I loved discovering ‘Miles Brinsley’s’ early life as a spook in Berlin, and as each element is revealed it’s a bitter sweet story.

Part of the reason that’s to blame for the subsequent 30 odd years of being a Wolves fan. Graham Taylor in charge with Mike Stowell, Andy Thompson, John De Wolf, Dean Richards, Don Goodman, Tony Daley, Geoff Thomas, Steve Froggatt, Gordon Cowans, David Kelly, and Steve Bull 💛🖤

You know you’ve enjoyed a book by the feeling you get reading the last few paragraphs, and this one will definitely be up there in my favourites of the year, if not all time. The only downside, I wish I could listen to Utopia Avenue & enjoy their music as much as their story. 2/2
