Enough time has passed. I didn’t enjoy Gingerrrr one bit and Kiekie flopped her role in few scenes. She can do better than this secondary school script…. No offense.

@TheIfunanya My mom and sis have flat tommies and they pressed hot water. It might be genetics, it might be the work of the hot water. But I’m def not skipping hot water.

“Hot water to press your tummy after childbirth is essential. It’s is our African way of snapping back. Our mothers all did it” Then why is your Mummy’s tummy not flat? 🤭

Or do we talk about how normalized pedophilia is in this damn country ??? These are adult men sexualizing Emmanuella, a young girl that grew up in front of our eyes and today, her comments section is filled with pedophiles !!!

Sexual assault becoming a norm in Nigeria is sth I can’t grasp my head around, we have sexual assaulters walking freely like nothing’s happened because the police feels it is not a “serious enough crime”. It’s honestly insane.

“Tunde Ednut, Gossimill, Yabaleft, Cutie Juls, Gistlover and many other bloggers in Nigeria, it’s time to wrap it up. The country is facing serious challenges and, at this point, we don’t want to keep seeing posts of girls dancing or celebrity weddings anymore. We want to be seeing updates about what is happening in Nigeria on your pages.” — AlvinOfLagos calls out Nigerian bloggers.

You know why I love this app? It’s because you get to learn things whether you like it or not. Only from this tweet have I learned that the movie “Gang Of Lagos” is in court for a costume they used in the movie. The producers (and Amazon) got hit with a lawsuit from the Isale-Eko Descendants Union over how the movie portrayed the Eyo Masquerade and the Isale-Eko community. The court basically ruled they misrepresented the culture, turning a revered tradition into something tied to gangs and violence. They were ordered to publicly apologize, and there were calls to pull the film. Also, I was reminded of the past times where a movie is released and the producers get sued because they tried to be real with every element of the acting and the public calls for the movie to be taken down. The wonders you see in Nigeria! A movie was made and all everyone is more concerned about is the prison uniform worn on set, not the acting and execution. Just because it didn’t suit your supposed narrative, you all labeled it “unfit and poor researching” instead of calling out your government that loves hiding its failures in poor policies and intimidation. Well, what do I know? But one thing I know is I’m definitely watching this movie. Did you all see the actors’ lineup? Menhhhh 🔥

West Africans need to stop forcing our history into Abrahamic or Middle Eastern narratives. It’s historically inaccurate, and honestly, it reflects a deep cultural insecurity. You Ijebu people are not Jews. Queen Sheba did not visit Ijebuland. Hausas are not Arabs from Baghdad. Igbos are not Israelites. We need to stop romanticizing foreign origins as if our civilizations only become meaningful when linked to the Middle East. West Africa already has a rich, ancient, and sophisticated history of its own, you have the Nok, Ile-Ife, Benin, Oyo, Gao, Mali, Kanem-Bornu, Igbo-Ukwu, and countless others. Many of our ancestors had lived and developed cultures in these lands for tens of thousands of years before Judaism, Christianity, or Islam even emerged. There is nothing inferior about being indigenous to Africa. We do not need borrowed identities to validate our existence, intelligence, spirituality, or achievements. Our history stands on its own. Stop it!

Do you know that Queen of Sheba that went to visit King Solomon in the Bible died in Nigeria 💔? Her burial site is located in Oke-Eri, a small village in Ogun State, Nigeria. It functions as an active pilgrimage and tourist site.

Hello @tokstarr I know you know what she meant by you can’t afford her but you just want to talk She said you can’t afford her base on salary level not as a client. Why didn’t you calm down to process before typing? Also saying karma caught up with her like you didn’t experience such in your own failed marriage too? Calling your fellow woman hoe?? Are you any different? “Little boyfriend” like you’ve not dated someone younger than you before? How do you think you’re different from Sandra? No be you write book on top man? No be you man no show up on your wedding day? No be you set up for wedding date before he finally show? I’m sorry to say I have to agree with a lot of Nigerians who claim you’re dvmb, you’re not too bright for this thing wey you type.
