They trolled the hell out of him while he was alive. They needed him to be what they imagined him to be.
He was brave to keep the images of his last days away from the internet. That’s also credit to his friends and family. There is no joy in handing the world those moments.
Met him during @DrZSB ‘s cancer walk. Alex Ekubo was a real one. May his soul rest in peace.
High Chief Lawrence Igbins Okoro@HighChiefOkoro
I am so glad that no one has the vulnerable and sick images of Alex Ekubo. His friends and colleagues would have been using it to chase clout in cover of sympathy. All pictures and videos are those of his happy and healthy moments. I am sure he was intentional about it.

I work the night desk at a rundown motel off Highway 9. Forty-two dollars a night. Cash only. Mostly people passing through. This woman checked in around midnight. Paid for one night. Two little kids with her. Maybe five and seven. They looked exhausted. Next morning I’m doing rounds. Her door’s cracked open. Looked inside. Room was empty except for garbage bags of clothes. No suitcases. Kids were sleeping on the floor. No beds used. She was sitting in the corner crying. Saw me and jumped up

One mistake Africans make when it comes to money is that they do not maintain capital. They earn money and build a house, buy a car, help people in the village, throw parties. They do not keep capital, they do not collaborate with others who have capital. Ownership of capital is how keep wealth over the long run.
If 5 people can jointly field 1bn, they can make more from the 1bn together than if they each had 200m.
Always grow your capital, and collaborate with people who also have capital so you can join deals. And never be greedy - the bigger your capital, the safer your investment target should be.
Work with the same people for long - if you know a retailer who regularly needs 10s of millions for restocking, be their capital provider over years. You too will know the business, and you will have a good sense of how at-risk your capital is. Chasing new ideas is often poor.
Many people have technical knowledge or access, but lack cash to execute - if you see them do it 2-5 times, join them on the 6th time with 10% of their need, then 20%, etc. Try to never cross 30% financing, otherwise you are taking all the risk.
Keep your capital liquid when it is small and lock up in safe, interest producing assets when it is large.
Only ever buy private homes or cars from your interest - your wealth is not your capital, it's your interest.

If you study engineering in any Nigerian university and you can't do this, please go and burn your certificate. I'm not talking about those who did agricultural engineering.

STOP Waiting for Express Entry CRS to “Miraculously” Increase.
If you’re serious about relocating to Canada in 2026, you need to understand this:
PNP might be your fastest route.
Today, let’s break down how to relocate to Canada through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in 2026 step by step — no agent hype, no confusion.
What Is PNP?
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows individual Canadian provinces to nominate immigrants based on their labour shortages.
Translation?
Instead of competing with the whole world, you compete within a province that actually needs your skill.
And when a province nominates you?
You get 600 additional CRS points if it’s Express Entry–linked.
That means an automatic Invitation to Apply (ITA).
Provinces Running PNP in 2026
Here are popular provinces actively using PNP:
1) Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
•Healthcare workers
•Tech professionals
•Skilled trades
•International graduates
Ontario does targeted draws, especially for healthcare and tech.
2) Alberta Advantage Immigration Program
•Lower CRS score sometimes accepted
•Strong oil, trade, and agriculture sectors
•Healthcare and construction in demand
Alberta often selects candidates directly from the Express Entry pool.
3) Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program
•Popular for Nigerians and Africans
•Occupation-in-demand stream
•No job offer required in some categories
4. Nova Scotia Nominee Program
•Healthcare
•Early childhood educators
•Transport and truck drivers
How PNP Actually Works (Step-by-Step 2026 Strategy)
STEP 1: Check Your Eligibility
You need:
•Valid IELTS (General)
•ECA (WES or other approved body)
•Skilled work experience
•Proof of funds
STEP 2: Choose the Right Province
Don’t choose a province because your friend lives there.
Choose based on:
•Your occupation
•Your CRS score
•Demand list
•Processing time
Strategic relocation wins.
STEP 3: Create Express Entry Profile (If Required)
Some PNP streams are:
•Express Entry aligned
•Non–Express Entry (paper-based)
Express Entry–linked means faster PR.
STEP 4: Wait for Provincial Nomination
If selected:
•You receive nomination
•CRS jumps by 600 points
•You get ITA
•Apply for PR
STEP 5: Apply for Permanent Residence
Submit:
•Medicals
•Police clearance
•Financial proof
•Biometrics
Wait for decision.
Move to Canada as PR.
Who Should Consider PNP in 2026?
•Nurses
•Healthcare assistants
•Teachers
•Truck drivers
•IT professionals
•Skilled trades workers
•Construction workers
If your CRS is low (below 480–500), PNP may be your golden route.
Relocation is not magic.
It is documentation + eligibility + strategy.
If Express Entry looks impossible,
PNP might be your open door.
2026 is about smart migration, not loud migration.

A therapist who spent 40 years counseling couples on the brink of divorce wrote down the one conversation she wishes every couple would have before they get married.
She said: "If you have this conversation honestly, you will either save yourself decades of pain or build a foundation that can survive anything."
Here is the conversation…

Here is an example of a quality life
1. A reliable car. Note that it must not be expensive. A reliable Kia will give you a quality life than an unreliable G Wagon.
Go after cars that won't make you spend 10 days every month with the mechanic with 25% of your income burning out monthly
2. A good house. Rent or build houses that are well lit. Well ventilated. It must not be a mansion.
A well lit and well ventilated 2 bedroom with dry walls will give you a quality life than a 7 bedroom mansion with a pool that is poorly lit, poorly ventilated with wet walls.
3. Quality Food And Water. Install a solar water treatment plant, and eat olive oils, natural butter, nuts, home made yogurt etc.
Always ordering food from God knows where because the turkey is peppery will save you time but won't save your health. Treat food as medicine. Be slow and strict with it. Bath clean and drink clean water. You'd not easily fall sick.
4. Except it's an emergency. Regular Medical checkups will save you from wahala. With 10k naira in a place like Abuja, you will check your eyes fully in a solid private hospital. Full body check up in a solid private hospital can be gotten for 60k naira. In some cases, less.
Quality life is easy and sometimes straightforward. Flashy is not always quality.
