Beat 8 seed Clemson, 1 seed Florida and 4 seed Nebraska. Florida was basically a home game for them and Neb had a huge turn out for their game. ISU beat a 15 and 7 seed before getting thumped by a 6 seed. Let’s pump the breaks a bit on who had the easier path

I’ve never see an athletic program go with this much hype in this many sports just to fall apart in each one. Iowa State: Football: -Preseason ranking 21 -Peak 12 -Ends season unranked, coach and majority of team leaves, no bowl game. Women’s basketball: -Preseason ranking 14 -Peak 10 -Ends season unranked, going 1-4 with first round exits Big 12 and NCAA Tournament. Mass exodus of players. Keeps bum coach. Men’s basketball: -Preseason ranking 16 -Peak 2 -Ends season in the Sweet 16 after having a Final 4 or bust mentality. Coach’s name will be brought up to fill open positions this offseason.
