To be fair, if he destroyed the planet he will not been able to make it back home.
Now I don't think their planetary threats.
But they're definitely a threat to a civilization a single person can be.
A good example is if they were able to destroy a planet they didn't have to freeze the Ragnar home world. Or that one bug beetle thing that makes him weak. They could have destroyed their planet..
