As we're now 1/2 way through #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth, it's time to rethink security and what it means to us. We're known as the Lucky Country in Australia, but luck doesn't mean much when it comes to security. We can do better with a few simple steps.

It's great to see @SUSE and @Oracle (!!) stepping in and especially great to see @AlmaLinux and @rocky_linux continue. Red Hat have this one wrong and have definitely lost a lot of community goodwill.

This is a decent read of the Red Hat situation: techcrunch.com/2023/07/11/why… To me, Red Hat's changes are a sign their business model needed work. They tried to force sales with CentOS changes and now pouring fuel on the fire.

After 7 years with my trusty dell 27” 4k display. I finally upgraded to the display I’ve wanted for 6 months. The LG 32UN880 which is a 32” display. All of the screen.

If you work in IT security (or "cyber" if you've had marketing involved), please, please don't just send crude Nessus (or similar) scan results to customers. You haven't value added. Your job is to read these reports and evaluate applicability!
