As part of our ongoing charitable initiatives, each month we randomly select an AlphaBiolabs colleague to nominate a charity to receive a donation. This month, Georgia Blackwell has nominated Time for Bed @timeforbeduk, and we’re pleased to make a £100 donation to support their work. Run by @EndFurniturePov, Time for Bed supports children in Merseyside who are living without a bed of their own, providing bed bundles – including a bed base or cot, mattress, and bedding – via referrals from schools and teaching professionals. Georgia chose Time for Bed “because every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep.” Many don’t realise how many children lack their own bed – sleeping on floors, sofas, or sharing beds with siblings. Giving a child their own bed can make a meaningful difference to their health, well-being, learning, and confidence.
