@Bhnewman05 Lots of virtue-signaling or rage bait posting, and the comments are often from smoothbrained racist boomers who don't know shit. LinkedIn sucks balls.

LinkedIn is a dying platform of AI slop and boosted advertising. They destroyed the reach of every user and creator, offering no clarity on why it benefits the platform. Density of valuable content in the LI feed is quite low compared to X. I wonder what their engagement numbers look like.

🚨 Kimi K3 just cooked Opus 4.8 🤯 This huge Chinese model has a giant memory. It builds games, websites, and AI workers. Plug it into Hermes and it gets real work done. The big US labs just heard boss music. Link in the comments.

Is someone building the “Airbnb for inference”? My mac, my Xbox, my phone all sit idle for 8 hrs a day. Is the marginal GPU increase too small? Or are the security risks too high to pull it off?

NASA used a supercomputer to build a mind-bending simulation of falling into a black hole. Once you cross the point of no return, you have 12.8 seconds left to exist. To visualize these final seconds, NASA scientists ran the math of general relativity on a supercomputer, generating 10 terabytes of data in 5 days. The simulation shows a camera plunging into a supermassive black hole where light warps and space flows inward. The actual descent takes 3 hours, but to a distant observer, your image would freeze at the edge forever. A century of Einstein's equations, finally playing as video.
