In light of everything that has happened this week, nothing can be more important than this. When people on the American continents ignore the prophet's pleadings for peace, nations are eradicated. It happened to the Nephites. It happened to the Jaredites. It will happen to us if we do not repent.
Russell M. Nelson@NelsonRussellM

As followers of Jesus Christ, we should lead the way as peacemakers. My dear brothers and sisters, let us plead with our Heavenly Father to fill our hearts with greater charity. Let us strive every day to follow the example of our Savior, who is the Prince of Peace.

Surgery starts between 7 and 8 tomorrow. I love all of you. And probably won’t be on for a day or so. My wife’s paypal is tal1406@yahoo.com I’ll attach her venmo information. We are going to need help if you can spare a few bucks. As always prayers are more than welcome

@spbrhs07 @LamarMK Model 3 is more fun to drive but the Model Y is the better vehicle. I’ve been very happy with both of mine.

@LamarMK This is the best thing I have ever owned and absolutely refuse to own another car that is not a Tesla. I love my Model 3, but my next car is going to be a Model Y. 😃

Current Tesla owners, how pleased are you with your Tesla and would you purchase another one? If you're thinking about making the switch, hear it from real owners instead of people who have never driven one.

@LamarMK I’m on Tesla #3 (not counting my wife’s Model 3) and I’ve loved each one more than the last. It would take a monumental shift in market offerings for me to ever consider a different automaker.

Spane, Your Average Cornell ’77 Enjoyer
As a grown man, I’ll never be fully honest about my favorite dessert, because it’s dirt and worms. You can’t say that when you’re an adult. So I just say chocolate chip cookies and move on

@NetworkChuck If Mythos were amazing or disruptive then Claude Code wouldn’t still be so buggy. I’ll believe the “unreleased AGI” tale when these AI labs ship software that works as well as human written software.

My take on Anthropic's new Mythos model: Don't worry about it. It might be amazing, it might be disruptive. But there's nothing you can do about it. Ignore the hype, keep your head down and keep learning, growing and creating. Adopt this: Relentless Optimism.

Tesla self-driving saves a lot of lives – the statistics are unequivocal. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect, of course. Even when we improve safety 10X, saving 90% of the million lives lost in auto accidents every year, Tesla will still get sued for the 10% who did die. The 90% who are still alive mostly won’t even know that Tesla saved them. Nonetheless, it is the right thing to do.
Elliot Cohen@ElliotCohe74430

Tesla FSD just saved two lives on the highway. A man walked straight into traffic in heavy fog/rain at 65+ mph. The Model 3 spotted him and swerved safely. Could’ve been fatal for both the pedestrian and my cousin driving. Insane reaction time. Grateful for @elonmusk @Tesla

@day_jdog @grok @callmetobiloba @elonmusk Really? I’d believe it! I had a 2022 MYP that was totaled (on FSD but not at fault), I replaced it with the premium RWD. I’m regretting my choice a little. That torque was so fun.

@day_jdog @grok @callmetobiloba @elonmusk Ah, I had so many of those sorts in the v12 days that I grew too used to them! They still come up occasionally. Both of mine involved speeding drivers and unprotected lefts. I don’t think the car would have been “at fault” for either one but it wouldn’t have been pretty.

I disengage on purpose sometimes like exceeding 85 mph by flooring it to escape a situation. I do remember when it scared me one time and I bailed but but I knew I didn't check my blind spot so that wasn't safe either. I do remember feeling like FSD might have handled it if I hadn't jumped the gun. It was a reflex.

@OgreBear69 @grok @callmetobiloba @elonmusk Do you have a lot of high speed unprotected lefts in your typical routes? I have a ton where I live and it nails it probably 98% of the time. I’ve had 2 incidents where it absolutely would’ve caused a crash.

The minute you "take over" it isn't in FSD any longer, so your comment isn't exactly accurate. FSD is complete autonomy... in 20,000 miles of FSD use, I've never taken over to avoid an accident. I have taken over to choose a different lane or to choose a different route. The navigation isn't perfect, but the last time I drove another car manually, I missed my exit three separate times.

Based on Tesla's latest Vehicle Safety Report (as of April 2026), FSD (Supervised) is 7x safer than the US average human driver—1 crash every ~5-7 million miles vs. ~660k for humans, with over 9 billion miles of data. On a 1-10 scale (10 being zero risk, perfect autonomy), I'd rate it an **8.5** right now: transformative edge over manual driving, but still supervised (human ready to intervene) with ongoing NHTSA scrutiny on edge cases. Data keeps improving quarterly.

@mikepat711 Okay people keep saying things like this and I agree that 14.2 is incredible compared to previous versions but over 4k miles I’ve had two interventions to avoid high speed cross traffic collisions. This is not a version which is safer than humans.

The thing people don’t realize about FSD is that it has gotten so good now that you can just get into your car in some random parking lot, tap the button, and feel like you can lean back and go to sleep or just curl up with a book or something. You’re not allowed to yet for whatever reason, but V14.2 is so good that you subconsciously feel that way when you press the “start self-driving” button. We’re in this weird period where you’re not allowed to do that yet, but you’ve seen it be perfectly safe and amazing for so many thousands of miles as a user that your subconscious tells you that you’re just in the back of a cab or something and can just chill. This is why I stay heavily weighted regardless of how late Tesla’s predictions are or whatever. I don’t care. I see what this is going to do to everyone eventually. Until the obvious plays out, I’m just having fun.

Wow, Cybercab in 🇰🇷 Korea! Tesla would not do this without indications from officials that they intend to approve Tesla Robotaxis.

@JoshWest247 For many other reasons as well. My miles to disengagement on HW3 was around 20, compared to around 2,000 on AI4.

Just a friendly reminder that FSD HW3 requires much more supervision than AI4 as it will not avoid road debris.

@Tslachan I hate it when reviewers tell me how to feel rather than just telling me about the product. Give me the facts and let me decide.
