WASHINGTON (@AP) _ The Supreme Court's conservative majority on Monday sounded skeptical of state laws that allow the counting of late-arriving mail ballots, a persistent target of President Donald Trump.
The court heard arguments in a case from Mississippi that also could affect voters in 13 other states and the District of Columbia, which have grace periods for ballots cast by mail. An additional 15 states that have more forgiving deadlines for ballots from military and overseas voters also could be impacted.

From 2022:
Not only did Fetterman come from the party’s progressive wing, but he is irreverent, blunt and, well, something to see.
But the Jan. 6 insurrection stiffened the resolve among Democratic state committee members to vote for the candidate who is most electable.
For many, that means voting for Lamb, viewed as a more moderate, more conventional candidate with a resume that has more crossover appeal.

People re-litigating this primary like it was some heartbreaking squeaker is so funny to me
Fetterman won by 32 pts, carrying every single county
He wasn’t some secret moderate who duped everyone into thinking he was progressive
He was a fundamentally different guy pre-stroke

The Democrats of Pennsylvania could have had Conor Lamb as their Senator but instead looked at a big doofy guy in a hoodie and decided they preferred a guy who looked and acted more like them than an educated attorney with military experience. This mess is all on you guys.
