@COSMICREWOUND anything? surprise her? “okay. i know just what you need!” he is so getting her those new safety goggles he saw online. it’s expensive, but he thinks her beautiful eyes would look cute with those. oh, was that not the kind of surprise she had in mind?

@timephd “o-oh, i…” she giggles, now taking a good look at him with her pretty red face. he’s handsome when he’s this close. “doc, i don’t mind anything. surprise me.”

@COSMICREWOUND he does… but, all of this…is very new to him.

@timephd does he… does he want her? she’s dreamed of this.

@COSMICREWOUND he’s not even seeing the obvious innuendo here. “why yes, i think you deserved to be spoiled as well. a reward for taking such good care of the lab while i was gone!” he’s clueless.

@timephd “he’s been spoiled enough already— but he deserves it.” oh— that’s it. she’s red as can be. “a— treat?”

@COSMICREWOUND “is that so? well, i guess he deserves a little treat then! i’ll buy him his favorite food tomorrow…” he paused, a slight head tilt. “should i buy you a treat as well?”

@timephd “i doubt i’m the only one.” she smiles softly, now unable to meet his gaze at all. if she does, it’s over. she’ll melt. “einstein was an angel the whole time. i promise!”

@hesoutoftimee precisely! and i assume there must be an alternative version of me too… why, i do hope i still have my beard.

@COSMICREWOUND that’s it, his smile is fully formed now — feeling flattered. “you might just be the only one, was einstein causing you any trouble? thank you for keeping him, by the way!”

@timephd “course i have, doc.” she’s looking so innocently up at his face, though her own face grows red.

@COSMICREWOUND he raised his eyebrows, trying to hide the forming cocky grin on his face. “oh. so, you’ve 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 me?”

@timephd “i just—- haven’t seen you in so long.” she’s got a furrowed brow as she steps closer.
