"you approached from my blind spot. don't do that again" brother she almost condemned the waiter into the salad bar you try to hold her hand walking home. she says "keep my right hand free. i need it for the crossbow" you hold her left hand instead. she lets you. that's the most romantic thing she's ever done. you tell her she looks pretty. she says "aesthetics are irrelevant. only the hunt matters" but you catch her looking at herself in the mirror 10 minutes later adjusting her hair. she'll never admit it. you have an argument. normal couples yell. vayne doesn't yell. she goes silent. disappears into the night. comes back 3 hours later and says "i dealt with it" you don't know what she dealt with. you never will. the ex boyfriend situation? there are no ex boyfriends. there are no exes at all. you ask about her past relationships and she says "attachments are a vulnerability" while polishing a silver bolt at the kitchen table. you try to surprise her for her birthday. you sneak into the apartment with flowers. she has you pinned against the wall with a crossbow at your throat. "never. approach. from. behind." you nod. she takes the flowers. almost smiles. almost. but here's why you'd never leave because when you wake up at 3 am and she's not in bed you look out the window and see her on the rooftop across the street. crossbow loaded. watching over the city. watching over YOU. she'll never say i love you but she'll kill every demon so you can sleep peacefully Study the Saskio way

The thing is… if there is a god then its one high and almighty being that rules over everything.. and has nothing to do with the 100 gods humans have. Just think about other primitive possible lifeforms on other planets, in other solar systems… they probably have their own gods too.. and so on and so on. There is definitely something but i would say surely not what our books tell us to believe in - because the numbers of other possible civilizations with their own gods is huge. 🤷🏻‍♂️
