Please see below the distribution of the HoR allocation according to the Aguiyi-Ironsi and Abacha Unitary Constitution of 1999. South-West - 71 South-East -43 South-South -55 North-East - 48 North-West - 92 North Central - 49 FCT - 2. TOTAL = 360. The South-East which is Ibo land, with a land area just about the size of One Oyo State of Six (6) States has 43 seats at the House of Representatives to stand in for their people. That is just a difference of 28 for all of that land mass and population of South-West. The South-East Ibo land gets its share of Federal Allocations. But half their population is in South-West adding pressure to the infrastructure of Yoruba land, especially Lagos. Their children drag your Schools with your children and often disallowing them spaces. They are the ones with their heavy population in our medical facilities. They add tonnes of pressure to refuse and sewage disposal. They pressure our roads. Still they are the ones harassing the trade opportunities of the people of the South-West depleting our chances of getting jobs and making meaningful profits from trade. They are the same ones adding to environmental nuisance. They leave all of their due Allocations to their thieving leaders back home unchecked. Now, they still want to take part of our own shares of the Federal Allocations to add to theirs on their lands. When you have 71, they demand that you give them 20 so you can be left with 51 and they move up to 63. And what will they do with the 63? They will do Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, collect the Allocations for your land and give it to their Ibo people who will either move to take it back to their villages or use it to further impoverish us on our lands. The most annoying thing about it is that the South-South is in closest promixity to them with 55 seats but they won't go there to ask for a single seat. North-West has 92 seats, free meals from the Federal cake, a region where the Ibos have even greater population, they don't dare to ask. But they will not just ask for it in Lagos or Yoruba land , they will drag it with us while shedding crocodile tears. Where is the JUSTICE AND EQUITY in this please??? It is like when a man comes into your house, you give him a seat, he gets a spoon, serve him food but next thing he does is to hold your hands preventing you from eating your own meal in your own house. Would you just sit by and allow him ? Hell No!!! You take your spoon from him and kick him out of your house! That's it!!! Meanwhile, when he is in your house he is doing everything to kill you slowly. And you are telling me about One Nigeria.
