Abilene Christian parting ways with football coach Adam Dorrel (and, I guess, Josh Lamberson)

Myself and the entire @KearneyPolice were saddened to learn of Buffalo County Commissioner Bill McMullens passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill’s family, friends, the Buffalo County Board, & all those impacted by his leadership & guidance. He will surely be missed.

It was sad to read in today's @KearneyHub about the passing of county board chair Bill McMullen, a person I didn't know well, but always appreciated his service to our community and surrounding area. RIP and thank you for your service.

The start of 1967 state cross country at Pioneers Park. Scottsbluff, Lexington, & Elkhorn St. John's won state titles. State XC was in Lincoln until 1971 when it went to Omaha for year (at Spring Lake Golf Course) and then found its home in Kearney in 1972.
