@Bargo03 Speaking as someone that is also very close to D1, and the next level...
2 is a wet blanket. I've also watched 'club guys' struggle, and not at the "D1 level" but all across all levels. The must-play-here mindset isn't the end all, be all, some want it to be.
Take this for what it is worth from somebody that has been very close to D1 baseball.
1. You committed great, it could be pulled tomorrow.
2. Playing local legion will cost you playing time and not have you ready for top level comp!
3. You are not prepared for the schedule at D1! If 6 tournaments and a couple practices is too much, good luck in college.
The Cadets from Old Dominion University who stopped an active shooter, received 8 Meritorious Service Medals. Two of them received Purple Hearts…from the Sergeant Major of the Army and the Secretary of the Army.
Absolutely amazing and well deserved.
