I’m gonna be real and keep it fair. Why is it when a man actually admits his wrongdoings, people get more mad than the woman he was married to? Nick Cannon has said out his own mouth he made mistakes, moved wrong, and wasn’t always mature in that marriage. At some point accountability has to count for something. And let’s not act like context don’t matter. He was younger stepping into a marriage with Mariah Carey, who was already established, powerful, and living on a whole different level. That dynamic comes with pressure whether people want to admit it or not. Now what he’s doing today, you can question it, critique it, whatever. But everything ain’t about ego and control like people want to make it. Sometimes it’s growth, sometimes it’s confusion, sometimes it’s a man still figuring it out in real time.
