CREATED FOR LOVE Sheikh Ibrahim Niass did not describe his love for Prophet Muhammad S.A.W as poetry or metaphor. He stated it as identity and purpose. In his Diwaani, he declared plainly: “Khuliqtu li hubbi Muhammadin.” “I was created for the love of Muhammad.” This was not exaggeration. It was not symbolism. It was testimony. By this verse, Sheikh Ibrahim defined his entire existence. Not as a seeker who later found love, but as a soul fashioned from the beginning for love. This is why the mention of the Prophet’s name overwhelmed him. This is why tears preceded words. This is why composure collapsed into ecstasy. When love is the reason for creation, restraint becomes impossible. His knowledge flowed from that love. His spiritual openings were nourished by that love. His influence spread because hearts recognize sincerity born before effort. Many people love the Prophet through learning. Some arrive through struggle. But a few are created already facing him. Sheikh Ibrahim was not moving toward love. He was living inside it. And through one soul created for love, countless others learned what nearness truly means.
