A series loss was obviously inevitable. The finale was well-pitched by Seattle, but dropping that opener was the one that stings a little for the #Braves. They're 4-2 on the trip with 3 against the Dodgers on deck.

Matt Olson is having a monster year. Leads all of MLB in WAR, RBIs and runs, is atop the National League with 13 home runs and just hit a go-ahead homer to dead center off Andrés Muñoz. Atlanta has the best record in MLB in large part because of Olson.

@CrosbyBaseball How about Holmes vs no one. I have no faith in him pitching against the Dodgers and having a good outcome.

If Pérez starts tomorrow, Atlanta could go: Holmes, Sale, Elder (on regular rest) in Los Angeles versus the Dodgers and use Strider next Tuesday at home against the Cubs OR Holmes, Sale, Strider against LA

@ChoppinBravos Lee was down because he used him in a 7-1 game Saturday. That shouldn’t have happened.

Walt Weiss said he was trying to squeeze another out from Ritchie and coming back from Colorado with half the bullpen down it’s hard Lee was down, Fuentes was down, Perez was down and Reylo hasn’t gone back to back yet so they wanted to stay sway from him. They think Perez may need to still start so he’s been unavailable.

@ChoppinBravos What’s annoying is Lee pitching Saturday when it was 7-1. If he hadn’t pitched then he would have been available tonight.

What an ugly and avoidable loss man. I’m guessing most of the bullpen was down bc Weiss didn’t wake up and decided to forget how to manage but putting Ritchie in that situation is inexcusable. Ritchie’s looked good but the command issues are a problem. This team really needs Reylo, Strider and Holmes to figure it out. Elder has to do his thing tomorrow the Braves can’t lose their momentum not like this especially with Holmes going Wednesday who has been walking the park and getting shelled.
