Cody Rhodes and other members of the creative team reportedly have legitimate gripes with TKO for sticking their nose in storylines close to WrestleMania multiple years in a row now. (via @BodyslamNet)

A source noted that Pat McAfee’s promo on SmackDown was completely off script, which resulted in Cody Rhodes’ promo later in the show. - @BodyslamNet

I’ve had a couple of days to formulate my opinion and I just wanted to quickly share it. Almost everything in pro wrestling is both subjective and situational. I do think a suicide dive is surprisingly dangerous, it’s one of the few dives I’ve never even tried because it scares me. I have big feet and I feel like they would catch on the middle rope. But also lots of big guys like Brodie were incredible masters of the dive so it’s definitely situational. I think nowadays lots of people do this particular dive and the execution on both sides of giving and taking it can be underwhelming and repetitive. So in a sense I do agree that sometimes the risk is definitely not worth the reward. But sometimes it is. As a heel I absolutely love when a baby face does a suicide dive, especially one with speed, because I can either take it and go flying into the crowd or over a table, or I can catch them out of it and bump them on the apron or the floor. The suicide dive, like most things in wrestling, is a very valuable tool if utilized appropriately and efficiently.

@AndrewBaydala WWE can take the negative feedback, change course, and then play the “we had you dummies fooled this whole time.”

Morning- The beautiful thing about this app, and pro-wrestling, is that everyone can have an opinion or a "take". So have discussion and constructive criticism without bashing or believing your OPINION is the end-all be-all. I rewatched #SmackDown- I stated last night, and I will say it again, I dig @PatMcAfeeShow a lot-genuine good dude. Pat being Randy's guy two weeks before #WrestleMania seems like a major miss IF he's the actual guy. The whole character doesn't fit Pat, and if this is to play into the character he is going to play on Tulsa King, and the creative was to blend them....it's again a MISS. Pat's being the biggest #WWE brand ambassador, and has gone above and beyond to help the product, and truthfully, the fans don't want to boo Pat because they know how much he has done and wants to do for the brand. WWE has some time, and they love to sit back and watch the "IWC" go nuts, then swerve them, and I believe that will be the case here, and Pat will be a PART of the whole "more than one royal family", as Pat has NO lineage that is a part of pro-wrestling. The bigger problem for me outside of Cody Rhodes is that #SmackDown was absolutely brutal. I WELCOME your proper discussion.

A year ago today, our family, more specifically my son, had the privilege of being invited to WWE SmackDown in Chicago to meet his favorite wrestler, Cody Rhodes. Cody was extremely hospitable and really took the time to help a very nervous 8-year old feel at ease. Not many kids get to spend 20 minutes with him, let alone on his personal bus, where Kol got to see some of his cool personal items. Cody signed six, yes, SIX pictures for Kol lol, along with some merch, and even let him hold the World Title— on top of that front row seats. We will forever be grateful to Brian, Cody, and WWE for making this moment so special for our son.

@JuicySteen Exactly, they have way too much history to just fumble this and add random shit. Randy and Cody didn’t need any other outside forces, especially Pat McAfee. ESPECIALLY if this was a TKO call.
