(4/5) In addition to our model, we also tested a range of contemporary 3D algorithms. Some simple modifications to these other algorithms also improved performance when labeled data were scarce. So I encourage you to check it out, even if you are not using a volumetric 3D model.

@karpathy Kahneman used this same bat and ball problem to describe the difference between human system 1 (fast thinking -- humans get the wrong answer) and system 2 (slow thinking)

The deepest unintuitive disconnect w.r.t. psychology of ChatGPT is that it doesn't get "time to think". It has a small, fixed amount of thought for each output token. A bit like human forced to speak very fast. Asking them to produce more text is giving them more time to think.

I have personally witnessed two major accidents on Gregson and Markham/Urban (and I haven't lived here very long), including one with a flipped SUV.
