@emerson_clarke @CppLibHunt I think C++ is taking steps in the right direction with its recent versions. C++20 concepts e.g. would allow for a far more elegant solution to this problem. Still, a "real type system" with introspection would be nice, of course.

@CppLibHunt @tinLoaf Interesting, but with respect this is why C++ probably needs a successor. Why bother with all these convoluted template type machinations when the compiler has all the necessary information to expose a real type system.

@tinLoaf ach die Wassergefahren gibt's nicht mehr? Die hatte so ne schicke Pumpe damals. 2007, oder so.

@dEnergy_dTime Jo, LKW-Ladekran haben nur so ne Handvoll Fachgruppen. Wassergefahren und Ölschaden, z.B. KA hat ne Räumen (mit Radlader), sonst "nur" ne N, SB und B - also alle nur mit "normalen" LKW.
