@Jonnyreay @bbccumbriasport A lot of respect shown to Rochdale in the way Carlisle set up. Probably says a lot about how Hughes rates what he has at his disposal. Probably 3 or 4 quality players from being able to take the game to the best teams in this league.

@tindalla @bbccumbriasport Should have been 6 at HT! Rochdale totally outclassed us - MH Definitely got it wrong with the back 3 which was more a back 5. Addressed it quick but as you say we lack quality in midfield and still look dodgy at LB/CB. Big wake up call past 2 games.

Considering the game is in its development & this being a development league, fancy being deducted points for listing too many players on game days when most clubs/teams struggle to field the bare minimum numbers, in numerous cases cancel their fixtures. Absolute Madness🤦🏼‍♂️

A steady playoff qualifying league sees us finish 3rd. Still have the chance to go up and win the league cup. Phil Codd has done great with a focus on youth. Some exciting games ahead.

@tindalla @DaveLawtey @cookie_12_ Maybe, but again, I’ll refer to England v Spain on a 40x20, if the solution is to kick it or through it long in sheer hope then the size is irrelevant and everyone would simply say its a great press. But because it’s 34x19.5 it’s the court.

@ERFutsalClub @DaveLawtey @cookie_12_ Of course a shorter court does make individual defence easier and adjusts passing lines/distances etc so makes attack harder. So I can see why teams may complain if they aren’t used to it. Got to play what you’re faced with though. Different challenges are all good though.

@tindalla @DaveLawtey @cookie_12_ No problem, had this excuse from both Bloomsbury and Manchester too when ultimately they just didn’t know how to deal with it (then Manchester did and tore us apart 2nd half) no one else is stupid enough to do it 😂 we’re backing our players in 1v1s and we’re making progress 🙏

@tindalla @DaveLawtey @cookie_12_ Boltons court is 30m long so they had the luxury of an extra 4m against us this time 😂 Spain showed us good pressure makes the court size irrelevant on a 40x20. Let’s not blame the court in this game please, I thought our lads caused Champions elect Bolton a host of problems.

@DaveLawtey @cookie_12_ 34m does make a difference but looks like you lads are really improving as well. Results are close, it’s great to see! If there’s 1v1 dominance and off the ball work is great it provides a coach with problems. Will be a few wins coming for you playing like that.

@tindalla @cookie_12_ Thanks for your thoughts Al, Our court is 34x19.5 wide. Not sure how that’s a small court. We actually now mark man to man which we are finding out teams can’t cope with. So hence why teams have a bad day against us. Watch the full game and tell us what you would of done

Three dire sides at the bottom, with Harrogate looking the only other team likely to get dragged in now. The amount of points that those four clubs are picking up, means two are going to get a bit lucky and stay up with a lot less points than usual. Hopefully we're one of them.
