@Mike1745343@TheGreatBonobo@slatterywill Have lived in Ireland across 4 decades now, during which time I've followed (not supported) Irish rugby in detail. Willing to wager I know a lot more about it than you do.
@TheGreatBonobo@tindlea@slatterywill There's no point making reasonable arguments to this guy. One of the best players in the world would have been an absolute menace to NZ, demoralising them well before the late comeback. He probably doesn't even know who Tadhg is to say that McCloskey is our in-form player.
Tadhg Beirne having his red card rescinded magnifies the complete farce of Saturday's proceedings
An overzealous TMO & a shambolic delay followed by an incorrect application of the laws
Terrible all round and really damaged Ireland's chances
@Mike1745343@donnamalone21@deplorablebantz@slatterywill "Ireland would have had a sizeable lead".
I'm 100% corksure that wouldn't have been the case given Ireland only made 2 line breaks in the whole match, and had a lineout success rate below 70%
@tindlea@donnamalone21@deplorablebantz@slatterywill "We will never know" but you seem to be pretty cocksure of yourself with your opinion. Beirne is Ireland's in-form player. Without him, NZ were able to hang in there with Ireland and steal it in the final 20. Ireland would have had a sizeable lead were it not for the red.
@SamTalksRugby7 Ireland v Japan won't be as big a win as that.
Yes, Japan hammered by the boks, but only lost by 3 to Oz the week before.
Ireland a lot closer, in standard, to Oz then SA currently
@amonsterd@deplorablebantz@slatterywill That "yellow card is worth a point a minute" refers to the period when the team are down a man.
In that period, Ireland scored 10 points to ABs 3 - say no more.
Ireland were exhausted in last 20 minutes due to combination of not being match fit (Leinster) and their age profile
@tindlea@deplorablebantz@slatterywill The reason that Ireland lost in the last 20 mins is that they were exhausted playing with 14 men for 20 mins, yellow card is worth about a point a minute, plus the permanent loss of their best player
@slatterywill Disagree.
1 player would not have have altered the fact that Ireland were done in at 60 minutes (memories of Ireland teams from 20 years ago)
And McCloskey is your in form player btw
Worst red card decision in the history of bad red card decisions.
There's surely not a single All Blacks fan that thinks that was a 🟥.

@Jeffrey16503976@jameswells51@IrishRugby No, Conan didn't play in that match - he was withdrawn on the day after slipping and injuring his knee at home. Tommy O'brien was also a late withdrawal from same match.
@Lynssssss@WorldRugby It wasn't 1 sided though: NZ equally penalised, especially in first half.
You just think its 1 sided cos Ireland lost-if they'd won you wouldn't be complaining about ref.
We've all done it - Steward's red against Ireland in 23 was shocking. Most Irish fans thought it ok.
@tindlea@WorldRugby If one or two of the those instances happen per game, yeah fair enough. But when it’s consistent throughout the match and is as one sided as it was tonight, that’s where the frustration lies.
Absolute joke of a game this is. We need a serious review of the standard of officiating @WorldRugby cause the sport is dying in front of our eyes with every utterly pathetic refereeing performance. Forward passes, ungrounded tries, delayed marks, unjust reds etc etc etc. #IREvNZ
@Jeffrey16503976@jameswells51@IrishRugby Finn Russell played all 3 tests for Lions and came back for Bath on 11th October. Leinster lions should have played on 11th and 18th to get some game time
@tindlea@jameswells51@IrishRugby World rugby. It's 10 weeks and extra if you played over a certain amount of games. So players that started for the lions may have had longer than general squad players.
The coverage.
The fact Ireland's best player is sent off.
Jordie Barrett off the pitch.
The pitch is a joke.
Standard is horrific.
Neither side can win a line-out.
4-6 minute stop to decide on red card. No TV footage.
Some advert for rugby. . . . .

@Lynssssss@WorldRugby Unjust reds - it's happened to all teams. By the rules, if you make contact with head without a wrap, its a red.
Forward passes - plenty called back today. A few borderline ones werent, but none led to a score.
Ireland looked exhausted in last 20 mins - thats why they lost.
