There are really only two options: 1. There’s no huge undisclosed there there on Epstein, Bondi misled on it (until she didn’t) & Trump is quick to forgive a loyal soldier for being desperate to get on TV; or 2. There is a scandal that’s being covered up & it’s at his direction.

i've lived through something vaguely similar to what goes down in this episode of SUCCESSION, and I've never seen this scenario so vividly, credibly and chaotically captured in the minutia of micro-behavior and helplessness. it rocked me to the bone.

that was among the emotionally realistic depictions of a family in duress I've ever seen, giving characters who often act like clowns a level of raw, unprocessed feeling few performers can act but even fewer writers can write. in awe of SUCCESSION achieved here. holy shit.

this episode of SUCCESSION is going to go down in history as one of the best episodes in modern TV history, the kind that defines what the series has always been about while capturing the raw humanity of the deeply flawed, broken people that are the Roy Family. I’m still reeling.
