I love video games. I met my husband because he hired me to QA for a Sims game. I was a game designer for companies like Zynga and EA. I was a writer on State of Decay 2. And I still have never loved games like I've seen the way men love games. I was surrounded by men who would eagerly work on min-max spreadsheets during their lunch break. One designer had a cabinet full of games that he would replay over and over again to study the levels. They'd go home from making games to play more games. Honestly, it's a big reason I quit game design. I didn't have that obsessive, compulsive desire to play games in a way that superseded everything else in my life. Lots of women play videogames. I've never seen one consumed by them as their life falls apart around them.

I got beat up by some beetles playing #Peak last night.

There should be a "not interested because this is AI" button so the algorithm can see how much humans don't want that stuff.

A Tribute to Palestinian Men A tribute to Palestinian men, who haven’t had a moment of peace for the past 9 months. Palestinian men have been rescuing the injuries using their bare hands. They have been walking miles and miles to collect food and water for their families. They have been building tents over and over again. They have been supporting their families, their communities, their homeland with all they have. They have been killed in every way imagine , thousands have been buried in mass graves & many their bodies were left to be decomposed on the streets , Yet, our names continue to fall on deaf ears as if our lives don't matter. We have been on the frontlines of this genocide, documenting, helping, cooking, dying and everything in between. I pay tribute to my colleagues, my friends, the elderly, and all the fathers. I pay tribute to the resilient Palestinian men. We deserve life, dignity, and to be humanized in both death and life.
