@PaulAndrews2043 @BernardZuel I would say part of it is the enormous cost of importing vinyl to Australia. Shipping fees are crazy, and there's not enough records sold in Australia (usually) to justify printing locally.

@BernardZuel Bernard, genuine question, is the vinyl the same in every way as a vinyl album in the 70s or 80s or is there some new fandango thing about modern vinyl (beyond it being coloured) that they say justifies such an outrageous charge?

Love the new Jessie Ware album, as my review already gave away. Don't love at all the gouging $60-$70 the avaricious record company is demanding for a (single) vinyl version. That's more than twice the CD price, which I will buy instead. Keep killing the goose fellas, great job.
