The incident has been carefully enquired into. The vehicle was found improperly parked near Neela Gumbad/Sabz Burz Roundabout on 13.05.2026, a heavily congested traffic junction in Delhi, causing obstruction to the smooth flow of traffic. Accordingly, the vehicle was towed by Traffic Police crane and prosecuted for improper parking. As per prescribed procedure, a sum of ₹400/- was collected towards crane/removal charges. As of now, there is no provision for collection of such crane charges through online mode and the same is being worked upon. The allegations of arbitrary action and corruption against Traffic Police staff are baseless and misleading. The action taken was strictly as per law and procedure.
