@IlSignoreMatt @Cardinalfan9633 Completely agree. I’ve had some people tell me “Oh, you really don’t need it if your name is under their account” but having a trust has made things way easier for me and prevented any probate.

@Cardinalfan9633 @tisflying Living trust is the way to go. My parents had it and it made transferring houses, vehicles, property, assets & such so smooth and easy. Plus with a revocable living trust you can amend, restate, or revoke it to update beneficiaries, change trustees, or alter asset distribution.

I watch a lot of financial content on YouTube - real stuff from actual financial advisors, not hustle bros - and now that I’ve entered a new age group, the content has gone from “yay, isn’t investing exciting?!” to “it’s time to start planning for death.”
