@reallouiehuey Maybe the torture and murder of thousands during the dark ages has something to do with the hatred and mistrust of the Catholic church. Just sayin’…
“Crawley’s wife heard three to five shots from what appeared to be a high-caliber pistol and saw the teen running away.”
What does this detail add to the story? It is purely speculation on her behalf as to what caliber the gun is. Most people couldn’t tell a 22 from a 45–so why add it? Does the supposed eyewitness testimony of a large caliber gun change the fact that the kid was killed? What’s the agenda here?
A driver shot and killed a 17-year-old in Spokane Valley Wednesday night after the teen stood in traffic and then got into the driver’s vehicle, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said. spokesman.com/stories/2026/a…
@judyg512@GrantCardone He literally mentions this…”They will say, “who’s going to support the roads, police, fire department and schools? Sales tax & local businesses can support those things. “
@GrantCardone You are being taxed on the expenses incurred by the state/county/ etc to maintain the area in which in you and the value of your home. Imagine what the value of your home would be with no road improvements, no schools, no fire protection, etc. You use or have access to these.
Why should anyone be forced to pay property taxes. The state doesn’t buy the house you did. You bought the home, improved it, put a mortgage on it and paid for it. The state collects sales taxes & business taxes to fund services.
Imagine the 70 year old who owns a home today valued at $2M - they bought 30 years ago for $50,000, maintained the house for 30 years and finally paid the house off - Why should they or their heirs pay any tax much less on the increased value?
They will say, “who’s going to support the roads, police, fire department and schools? Sales tax & local businesses can support those things.
For those who support property taxes understand you open the door for the state to collect taxes on ALL property; boats, cars, clothes, art, bicycles, gym equipment, grills, tools, silverware, jet skis, stocks, retirement accounts - everything.
27 states reassess annually, and the rest, do so every 3 years OR lie California, any time you improve the property! It’s brutal and it’s endless!
If you support property taxes on personal property you are either;
a) a communist
b) confused
c) academic
d) free loader
End Property Taxes!
OK, so say the guy stops and gets out and it turns out that it's not a real cop and instead someone looking to steal the money. Best case scenario he is left alive, but will be fired for violating policy. Worst case he's killed. This is a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't. Even if it was a real cop he'd probably still be fired if he stopped and got out.
A Brinks armored car driver in Cobb County, Georgia was pulled over and arrested for expired tags on the truck.
Due to the company’s strict protocol the driver Tyrell Hall refused to open the door, telling police they could follow him to a secure location to issue the ticket.
Things escalated when the cops decided to arrest him instead, leading to a chaotic scene where the driver repeatedly yelled for them to get their hands off him.
Charges were later dropped, but Brinks fired him anyway. He's now suing both the Cobb County PD wrongful arrest and Brinks for wrongful termination and failing to maintain the vehicle’s tag.
@HoodieChicken@I_am_Tkgold This scene is from the TV series *DC's Legends of Tomorrow*, Season 6 (a time-travel episode set in the Old West). The woman is Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan), showing off her enhanced abilities. Not a movie, but a wild superhero show clip!
@liz_churchill10 Why would any parent allow this?!
Blame the ignorant parents, Drs will do anything for money, they don’t really give a fck about you!
It’s the MONEY for them
LOCK THESE BUTCHERS UP
They took a 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL…a literal child…and REMOVED her breasts in surgery. Now she’s a detransitioner asking the nightmare question, “Why do the doctors who coerced my mom and butchered me still have their medical licenses?”
“My immigrant parents are in a hospital in LA — and neither of them speaks English.”
There was no interpreter on staff, so the doctors asked her to translate.
“This is Los Angeles. DONT tell my parents to learn English — that’s your problem, not ours.”
If you live in America, you are in the top 1% of the wealthiest people in the world. Pretty sure you could afford cataract surgery for someone in India or help to fund a well for a village in Africa or help someone starving with food. Have you done any of that? Why do you think you have any right to any of Jeff Bezos’ money?
Jeff Bezos has $222 billion.
If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over.
And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.
@RealPostFolder For those of you saying that he is taking a sincere and legitimate question, I would have to disagree. He seems like he feels like he's got a GOTCHA question--like he is using it to prove how stupid the rest of us are. He's not sincere at all.
@WuDefa22@RealPostFolder Taking a minute to do a Google search would answer all their questions and keep them from seeming to be a complete and utter moron.
@RealPostFolder I think these are legitimate questions and can be easily answered. No need to call them stupid because the questions are not really stupid, they are just limited to their own knowledge. Real stupidity is denying the facts after being told and ask logically flawed questions
@Newlish25@ClownWorld That's a 23% tip and too high. What's unfortunate is that people feel guilty, so they tip even if the service is lousy.
What's really nuts are the tip jars at Starbucks. Young people, especially, have no concept of value.
@akafaceUS I have done this in the past and I could not believe it worked I found a receipt in a shopping cart I got the items & made up a story and I received a full refund I was a happy chappie this really works
@Brick_Suit To answer your question, no, they will not accept any level of proof. Even if you put them on a rocket and launched them to the moon to see it first hand, they would claim that it was somehow faked. You can't understand this level of stupidity.
Question for all the moon landing skeptics.
If future lunar missions flew over the Apollo landing sites and returned with photos that showed the astronauts' footprints, would you then accept that the Apollo moon landings were real?
What if your death comes about via a mechanism with 0% survivability? For instance, I jump off the Empire State I die 100% of the time. There are cancers with 100% mortality rates. So in these instances, do you die in all universes? I get if there’s a small chance of you surviving, maybe you can survive in another universe, but if there’s no chance??
Assuming these people were at the restaurant for 2 hours
A $60 tip means this server made $30/hour off this ONE TABLE
Is that not enough for a waiter to make?
Does being a waiter really need to be a $150/hour job?
The entitlement behind a lot of tipping culture is insane
@PowderMeFather@washghost1 Whatever dude. I work with a lot of cops and what I said above is true from what I’ve seen. But hey, you do you and ignore someone that may have more information than you.
@tjohnston302@washghost1 That's cope. They just don't care. Our entire system is run this way, just look at some of the lard asses in the military and corrections. As a country we just don't give af anymore about standards until the low ones fuck up in a fantastic fashion.
