@TooMuchMortons_ At first i thought the tall stance was a coaching call; eyes high so he isn’t chasing low (which he seems to do less) But his mechanics aren’t there and he’s slow to anything above the belt. Pitchers have caught on and he’s getting frustrated always getting pitched high.

@TooMuchMortons_ Currently, he’s too vertical. Too tall with a flat swing plane, then hands and arm overcompensate. That load was important; knee up, chest down, elbows tight, and he’s able to compress.

We are going to have a discussion about Tatis’ mechanics. I don’t like the no leg kick/two hand finish. It looks unnatural. It makes him look stiff. He’s not using his legs to generate power anymore. I think he’s too worried about not striking out. You’re gonna strike out just make the trade off worth it. Go back to being an athlete at the plate.
