The engine decouples from the drivetrain via a reinforced starter motor rated for 500,000+ cycles. This isn't Obama. It's thermodynamics. An engine burning fuel at zero mph does zero useful work. That's not politics. That's the first law. You're the EPA administrator and you don't understand combustion efficiency. Terrifying.
